The R Costings Abbey Stadium

Compared to a number of the grounds I've visited recently, this was a large crowd policed by over zealous stewards. I've forgotten how restrictive the higher levels of the football pyramid can be, lack of freedom to explore the ground was as a shock to the system - however I preserved readers, and I think I managed to obtain some interesting shots for you in the end readers.

Bigger queues for the cheval burger than normal readers.

The flag section
This weeks stop the ball compo - the winner gets a season ticket for Cambridge Utd - deep joy.
Goal No 5
The away section.
Fantastic old skool floodlights at Cambridge.
The Amber Army Stand

Just for Flysouth Sports an interesting interview with James Beattie and Neil Warnock - honesty readers it's really interesting - catch it on the iplayer while you can.
The best thing about Cambridge United is the way out.
Oh I nearly forgot - and there's plenty of parking spaces for Dave W and his mates.
