The barren landscape of Tallaght Park

The Spurs crowd
It was so cold - Harry put his track suit bottoms on - is this why the Irish fans were giving him a "bit" of stick?
Hey - whats Martin O' Neill doing here - spying for Sunday's game?
Ireland's version of Coronation street.
Andros Townsend crosses the ball for Defoe's goal.

The following day a visit was made to Croke Park - the principal stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland's biggest sporting organisation. Now a bit of history for you : During the Irish War of Independence on November 21, 1920 Croke Park was the scene of a massacre by the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC). The Police, supported by the British Auxiliary Division entered the ground, shooting indiscriminately into the crowd killing or fatally wounding 14 during a Dublin-Tipperary Gaelic football match.

In the Euro zone - they certainly do urban decay with some style.

The above are all pictures of the Aviva Stadium which I visited in the afternoon. I know it looks like a rather elaborate cannabis factory - but really the Aviva is home to the Irish rugby union team and the Republic of Ireland national football team. The stadium, located adjacent to Lansdowne Road railway station, officially opened on 14 May 2010. The stadium is Ireland's first, and only, UEFA Elite Stadium and in 2011, it hosted the Europa League Final.

I departed the emerald isle by ferry...where to next I hear you say - well you will have to tune in next week folks lol
