Nb Last game at this ground - prior to demolition and the construction of flats with a well known supermarket in tow.

Attendance : 814
Customer : Great, free sandwiches all round - a real end of season party atmosphere - just like the Coppermill PH E17.
Weather: April Showers.

Special commemorative programme to celebrate 91 years at Milton Road Football Ground. The club plan to ground share with local rivals Histon FC (your second fav team Chrissie Drummer?) for two years, whilst a new ground is developed at Sawstone. Ground shares tend to have a habit of dragging on and going horribly wrong for the "tenant" - lets hope this is not the case with Cambs City.
This sign should say "Welcome for the last time before the bulldozers move in".
Cambridge City have been at the Milton Road ground for 91 years - so it seemed fitting to release 91 black and white balloons into the atmosphere to celebrate the occasion.
Some celebs also turned up - here's Luis Suarez popping in for a "bite" to eat.
Along with fellow scouser Terry McDermott. Note the Sheff Weds fan perched just above Terry's perm i.e. the Owl haw haw.
There was also a guard of honour by past players - apparently the Butler and the Drummer were invited - but they choose to go to Wigan instead.

The snack bar has never been so busy - following Luis example taking time to have a "bite" to eat and "monch" on a burger.
One of those thermo nuclear energy shots.
The fall out is clearly still in the atmosphere with this shot.
The Cambs No 4 suffering from the effects of radiation poisoning. The Redditch far left does n't look too well either.
Last shot of the main stand for you Messrs Butler and Drummer ...please don't cry...
Ok then, here's another shot of the main stand just for you two!
Cambridge City are progressive club in everything they do - it's the first time I've seen greenhouse style bus shelters. Do you think they are used to grow prize marrow's during the close season?
The Redditch Utd contingent - complete with train spotter far right of flag - He's name is Ernest.
Sorry folks, Cambridge is clearly too posh for urban decay - this is the best I could found - not bad though shopping trolley, bins and traffic cones all the core elements of decay in one sighting. It's true they're a brainy lot in Cambridge.
Cambridge City are a skillful side and like to pass the ball around the park - I can clearly see the influence of Messrs Butler and Drummer on their style of play.
No, it's not the queue for the toilets - but the queue for the tea bar - I hope all the extra takings were declared?
Loyal Redditch Utd - all twenty of them !
Even the local vicar turned up to give the ground a final blessing before the bulldozers move in.
Is that your flag in the middle Chrissie Drummer?
Another green house shot readers.
Pitch invasion -it's Cambridge so it was very civilised - no divots of turf or goal posts taken as souvenirs.
Here's Cyril, loyal Cambridge City fan - he has n't missed a home game for 91 years.
This must be the Webb residence then?
